How to build a freezer to preserve your food in RimWorld Alpha 15.

Step 1: Place a stockpile, restrict it to food only and set it's priority to 'critical'.
Step 2: Build walls and a door around the food stockpile, any type of wall will do, make sure it's totally enclosed.
Step 3: Build a cooler in part of the wall around the food stockpile, make sure the cooler exhausts outside the food stockpile room.
Step 4: Connect the cooler to electricity and set the temperature below freezing (32F, 0C).

Congrats, you've built a freezer. If the temperatures raise too much when your colonists enter and leave you should consider building an airlock room. An airlock is a small room in front of the freezer door with it's own door so the amount of cold air that escapes is limited.
