In this video, I’m going to show you how to build a cart that can climb and descend walls vertically in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. It can even crawl upside down without Link falling off the vehicle
That’s why I call it the GIMBAL CRAWLER. For quick reference, check out the chapters below:
0:00 Introduction - What is the gimbal wall crawler?
0:45 Where to get the parts? (TOTK shrines to steal from)
1:53 How to dismantle fused weapons and materials
2:17 How to build the cart
3:15 How to build the gimbal platform with steering stick
4:02 Short Demo
A gimbal is a gyroscopic mechanism which allows you to drive it in any orientation without you getting thrown off the steering stick. This vehicle is based on the original creation of player u/Fantastic-Pound-1698. The GIMBAL CRAWLER handles climbing exceptionally well even in the Depths, and the gyroscopic platform works at any angle. The propellers are a bit large because we stacked them, but they don’t get in the way.
The propellers provide enough force to keep the vehicle from falling from the surface, and they also provides a forward push. It’s not the fastest vehicle nor the most efficient in terms of battery, but it’s fun to build and it gets the job done.
And that’s it for now. Please subscribe for more Tears of the Kingdom and gaming videos. This is Joystick Ninja and as always, thank you for watching
