Amazon Kids Plus, previously known as Amazon FreeTime, is a great service that gives your kids access to kid-friendly content in a safe ecosystem. However, when your kids outgrow it, you'll want to cancel that subscription to save a few dollars. Thankfully, Amazon makes it easy to cancel Amazon Kids Plus, and you're even issued a refund for any part of your subscription you've paid for that you won't be using.
Now let's walk through the steps to cancel your Amazon Kids Plus subscription.
Step 1. Open your web browser and navigate to Amazon.com. You'll land on your Amazon home screen.
Step 2. Click to expand the "Accounts and Lists" dropdown menu at the top of the screen, and then click "Memberships and Subscriptions" in the Your Account section. You'll land on the Your Memberships and Subscriptions screen where you'll see a list of your current subscriptions.
Step 3. Find Amazon Kids Plus, and then click "Cancel Subscription" in the row associated with that. A Cancel Your Subscription screen will be displayed, asking you to pick a reason why you want to cancel your Amazon Kids Plus subscription.
Step 4. Choose the reason you're cancelling your subscription, and then click "Continue to Cancel." Another screen will be displayed trying to get you to keep Amazon Kids Plus. Click "Continue to Cancel" again. Another screen trying to get you to not cancel is shown.
Step 5. Click "Cancel My Subscription." A message will pop up confirming that your Amazon Kids Plus subscription has been cancelled, and the screen showing your Amazon Kids Plus status will show you as not currently subscribed. Your kids will lose access to the content immediately, and you'll be reimbursed immediately for any part of what you've paid for that you won't use.
