2To cancel your heist missions in GTA 5 Online, follow these steps:
If You Are the Host
Access the Heist Setup Screen: If you’re in the middle of setting up a heist, open the Interaction Menu by pressing and holding the Touchpad (PS5).
Go to Heist Setup: From the Interaction Menu, select the Heist option to access the setup screen.
Cancel the Heist: If you’re still in the planning stage, you can simply leave the setup mission and back out. If you’ve already started the heist, you will need to cancel the entire session by exiting the heist planning board or going to the lobby and disconnecting from the mission.
If You’re a Participant
Leave the Heist: If you’re a participant and the heist hasn’t started yet, you can just leave the mission. This will cause you to be removed from the heist.
Quit the Session: If the heist has already started and you’re trying to back out, you can leave the session entirely by quitting the game.
