28To use fast travel in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 with the map, follow these steps:
Discover Fast Travel Points:
Fast travel points are marked by blue shields on the map. You must visit these locations in person to unlock them on your map. Once discovered, you can fast travel to these points.
Open the Map:
Use M on the keyboard or the up direction on the d-pad if you're using a controller to open the map.
Select Your Destination:
Navigate to the map and hover over or click on one of the blue shield icons representing a fast travel point. Each icon is typically near or in the center of settlements or major points of interest.
Initiate Fast Travel:
On PC, double-click or select and then press E to start fast travel. On consoles, you would typically select the icon and press A (Xbox) or X (PlayStation) to confirm.
Confirm Travel:
A confirmation prompt will appear; confirm your choice to travel to the selected location. Henry will then begin his journey, which you'll see as a timelapse on the map.
Be Aware of Travel Mechanics:
Fast travel in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is not instantaneous. Time passes in-game as Henry travels, and your character's needs like hunger or fatigue can increase.
There's also a chance you might encounter random events like bandits or merchants during your travel, which could interrupt your journey.
Inter-Regional Travel:
To travel between the two main regions, Trosky and Kuttenberg, look for the red carriage icon on the map. Selecting this will allow you to move between regions, but it will cost you 200 Groschen each time.
Map Exploration:
If you want to reveal all fast travel points on your map without manually discovering them, you can level up your Scholarship skill to 18 and choose the Explorer perk, which will reveal all points of interest on both maps.
