Coinbase Global, Inc., known as Coinbase, is an American company that operates a cryptocurrency exchange platform. Coinbase operates remote-first and lacks an official physical headquarters.
To change from Coinbase to a Coinbase Pro account, consider the following steps:
1. Firstly, note that you cannot change the account type directly even if you already have a Coinbase account. They’re different platforms and you’ll have to sign up for the Coinbase Pro account.
2. To do that, go to your web browser and then search for ‘coinbase pro sign up’
3. Click on the link mentioning Coinbase Pro and you’ll be headed to their website.
4. From the page, click on Get Started. Then, enter all of your details to sign up for an account.
5. Once you fill in all your information, click on Continue and your Coinbase Pro account will be created.
6. Now, to transfer all your coins and crypto from the regular Coinbase account, go to your Coinbase account and click on Send/Receive.
7. Enter the information of your newly created Coinbase Pro account and all of your bitcoins will be transferred.
