How to Change Instagram Home Feed Layout
12In this video, I'm going to show you how to change the Instagram post view on your Instagram app. So, open up Instagram on your phone. First of all, At the top of the screen where it says Instagram, you should see a little downward arrow if you tap on this.
You'll now see an option for following favorites. So at the minute, the default is set for following and you're getting your Instagram newsfeed from that list. Now, if you want to change it to favourites just tap on favourites. You may get this screen once you tap that option.
So I have not set any favourites yet, so let's tap into add favourites. Go through the list of your Instagram friends that you're following and tap on the people that you want to see post from the majority of the time. So just tap on the Add button beside their name and whenever that's done, just tap on confirm selection.
Now, if it doesn't adjust right away, all you have to do is go back onto the Instagram app and refresh the page. I had to go back into favourites and add more favourites in. And once you do that you will see that my newsfeed is now showing from people that I want to see.
