How to Add Someone on Snapchat without Saying Added by Search 2022
215In this video, I'm going to show you how to add someone to snapchat without it saying added by search. So, what you want to do is open up snapchat on your phone and tap on the magnifying glass, in the top left of the corner.
I'm just going to type in a random name here to bring up a list of different names on snapchat and then just going to tap on a view more to bring up a longer list of people. And as you can see beside, each person's name. There is an add button.
Now, if I was to tap on this add button, it would say added by search to the person that I'm trying to add, which we don't want to do. So another way of doing this is by tapping on the person's profile icon. So, I'm just going to tap in here.
I know you can see an option here to add friend. So if I tap odd friend here, it will be basically, say added by username rather than added by search. Another thing that you can do is underneath the person's Main name, you will see their snapchat Username. What you can do here is, if you can get someone to send you that username through a chat on Snapchat, it will then say, added by mention. So these are two different ways that you can avoid the added by search option on snapchat. I hope you find this video helpful.
