Connect your AirPods to your iPhone:
Make sure your AirPods are connected to your iPhone. They should be in their case with the lid open, or in your ears.
Open the Settings app:
On your iPhone, go to the Home screen and tap the Settings app.
Go to Bluetooth settings:
In the Settings menu, tap Bluetooth.
Find your AirPods:
In the list of devices, find your AirPods. They should be listed with their current name.
Tap the information icon:
Tap the i icon next to your AirPods' name.
Change the name:
Tap the current name of your AirPods to bring up the keyboard.
