How to Change the Screen OFF Timer on Android Phone (Display Settings)
To adjust the screen timeout on your Android phone, follow these steps:
Open your phone’s Settings app.
Tap on the Display option in the settings list.
Select the option for Screen timeout.
Choose the length of time you would like for your screen to stay on.
By extending the screen timeout period, you won’t have to worry about your display going dark before you’re ready. Keep in mind that the longer your phone’s screen is on, the more battery it will use.
So, even if you have an Android phone with excellent battery life, consider having a backup battery pack or a fast phone charger nearby during extended usage. Android is smart enough to disable the screen timeout when you’re watching videos on Netflix or YouTube, but for other scenarios, adjusting the timeout duration can be helpful
