How to Change Your DasherDirect Card PIN
Changing the PIN for your DasherDirect card is a simple process that helps ensure your account remains secure, especially if you suspect someone may know your current PIN or you want to update it for personal reasons. The DasherDirect card, powered by Payfare, allows you to manage your PIN directly through the Dasher app.
To begin, open the Dasher app on your phone and tap the "Let’s Dash" button. Log in using your registered phone number or your email and password. Once you're logged in, navigate to the "Manage Card" section. This is usually located within the DasherDirect dashboard under the Earnings or Account tab.
In the Manage Card section, look for the option that says "Change PIN" or "Update PIN." Select this option to proceed. You'll be prompted to enter your current PIN followed by the new PIN you want to use. After confirming your new four-digit PIN, it will be saved to your account for use with ATM withdrawals and point-of-sale transactions.
Note that if you are using the virtual version of the DasherDirect card, a PIN is not required for online purchases. PIN changes only apply to the physical card. Also, be aware that the DoorDash Red Card (used for select order payments) is not the same as the DasherDirect card. If you're looking to update the Red Card PIN, the default is 0000 and it cannot be changed.
If you're unable to change your PIN through the app or run into any issues, you can contact DasherDirect or Payfare support for help with PIN resets or account verification.
