How to Change Your Name on Roblox Mobile
If you want to change your name on Roblox using a mobile device, this guide will show you how to do it step by step. Roblox gives users the option to change both their Display Name and Username, but there are key differences between the two. Display Names are free to change once every 7 days, while changing your Username requires Robux.
Start by opening the Roblox mobile app and logging into your account. Once you're on the home screen, tap the three-dot More menu located at the bottom right of your screen. From the menu, select Settings, then tap Account Info.
Here, you'll see your current Display Name and Username. If you want to change your Display Name, tap the pencil icon next to it. Delete the current name and enter your new one. Just note that Roblox only allows you to update your Display Name once every 7 days. If you've already changed it recently, you’ll have to wait until the cooldown period is over.
To change your Username, scroll down to find the Username section and tap the edit icon. You’ll be prompted to enter your current password and choose a new username. Keep in mind that changing your Username costs 1,000 Robux, so make sure your account has enough balance before proceeding.
Once you've made the change, your new Display Name or Username will take effect across the platform. Your friends, profile, and games will all reflect the new name you’ve chosen.
