How to Change your Snapchat Username with NEW UPDATE 2022
23In this video, I'm going to show you how to change your username on snapchat with snapchats new app update. So go ahead and open up snapchat on your phone. Tap, on your profile picture in the top left hand side of the screen then tap on the settings icon, in the top right hand side of the screen. Beside username, you will see the faintest arrow,
tap on the username and now you will see an option for change username in blue. Tap on this. So let's just point out that the username can only be changed once a year. Once you change your username, no one will be able to claim your old one including you.
So if you're happy enough with that, then hit the continue button, go ahead and change your username to whatever you want.
As you can see here, the username must be at least a three characters in length, and if the username is available, it will let you know that the username is free. When you're happy enough, hit the next button, confirm your username change by typing in your Snapchat password. Tap on the blue confirm button.
Again you'll get a pop-up message just reconfirming you to change your username and it does let you know again that you can only do this once per year. So again, hit continue if you're happy enough, then finally hit the next button and that's it. Your username has now been changed on Snapchat.
