How to Close Games on PS4 & Restart (Easy Method)
1Closing games on the PS4 is a straightforward process. Follow these steps:
Return to the Home Screen: Press the PS button on your controller once. This will bring you back to the PS4's main menu, also known as the Home Screen.
Navigate to the Game: Use the left stick on your controller to navigate to the game you want to close. Highlight the game's icon on the Home Screen.
Close the Game: With the game icon highlighted, press the Options button on your controller (the button with three horizontal lines). A context menu will appear.
Select "Close Application": In the context menu, select "Close Application" and confirm your choice when prompted. This will close the game and return you to the Home Screen.
Alternatively, you can also manually close the game from the PS4's system menu:
