How to connect a Samsung Galaxy TAB S7 to a Samsung DEX Station for HDMI to TV or gaming monitor using a USB C extender cable.
So, in a nutshell. The Samsung DEX Station is basically a USB C hub system that has a HDMI output on it for primarily connecting Samsung Galaxy smartphones that are DEX capable to a TV or computer monitor when the Galaxy smartphone is switched to either DEX mode or mirroring mode. Typical Samsung Galaxy smartphones for DEX would be the S21 series, the S20 series, in fact, many Samsung Galaxy phones have the DEX function.
The DEX Station also allows you to connect a keyboard and mouse via USB and most other USB peripherals such as sound cards, USB audio interfaces, external SSD drives, thumb drives/flash drives etc.
So, to get that same interfacing with the DEX station with the Samsung Galaxy TAB S7 and TAB S7+, which are both DEX compatible. We simply use a USB C extension cable to connect the S7 to the DEX Station. Which, as you seen in the video, is a really simple process.
With this setup and game controller you also have an awesome Android gaming setup which connects to your monitor or TV and makes the whole thing like am Android gaming console.
Then you can set the whole thing up to replicate a typical home computer setup. Thereby almost turning your Samsung Galaxy TAB S7 into a desktop computer.
