How To Connect Wired Headphones And USB C Power At The Same Time To An Android Phone Or Tablet
38In this video I'm showing you how to connect wired headphones and also USB C power at the same time to an Android phone so you can charge and power your phone and listen to music or any audio at the same time with your wired headphones. This will also work for an Android tablet as well that has a USB C but does not have a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack socket.
Because many modern Android phones and Android Tablets do not have a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack socket on them. You can use a USB C to 3.5mm headphone adapter cable to get yourself a headphone output on an Android phone or tablet.
However, while these types of USB C headphone adapter cables are mega useful, they do not allow your Android phone or tablet to charge at the same time with their USB C power supply because only one thing at a time can be plugged into the phone or tablet's USB C port. So, in that instance it's either headphones or power.
This is where this USB C adapter by Cable Creation comes in handy. As it allows you to have a headphone socket and also supply power to your Android phone or tablet. So you can use your wired headphones at the same time as charging your phone or tablet with the phone or tablet's USB C power supply adapter charger.
As you can see in the video, this adapter has a long enough USB C connection on it to connect to the phone's USB C port even with a case on the phone.
This adapter has Hi-resolution audio and is also PD charging compatible and it will also allow a microphone to be connected as the 3.5mm audio jack socket on the adapter interface is also TRRS wired.
