The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2 is a speaker that travels well and puts out a great sound. As a result, it's great for pairing with your laptop either at home, travelling for work, or you just want to spin up some music with friends. Connecting your Wonderboom 2 to your Windows laptop only takes a few seconds.
Now let's walk through the steps to pair your Wonderboom 2 Bluetooth speaker with your Windows laptop.
Step 1. Click the "Start" icon in the lower left corner of your screen, and then click the "Settings" icon in the Start menu. The Settings icon looks like a gear. The Windows Settings screen appears.
Step 2. Click "Devices." The Bluetooth and Other Devices screen appears. When you arrive at this screen turn Bluetooth on if it isn't already enabled.
Step 3. Click "Add Bluetooth or Other Device" at the top of the screen. The Add a Device screen appears.
Step 4. Hold down the "Pairing" button on your Wonderboom 2 Bluetooth speaker until it makes the following sound and the light in the center of the button starts blinking. The Pairing button is a small button in the shape of a circle located above the Play/Pause/Skip button and beneath where the cloth loop strap is located.
Step 5. Click "Bluetooth" on the Add a Device screen after your device is in Pairing mode. A list of discoverable Bluetooth devices appears. You should see Wonderboom 2 in this list.
Step 6. Click "Wonderboom 2" in the list of available Bluetooth devices. The Pairing light will stop blinking on your Wonderboom 2 Bluetooth speaker and it will make a ding sound. Additionally, on the Add a Device screen on your Windows computer, a message appears at the top of the screen saying that your device is ready to go and your Wonderboom 2 should now show as connected.
Step 7. Click "Done" to close the Add a Device screen and return to the Bluetooth and Other Devices screen. You'll now see your Wonderboom 2 Bluetooth speaker shown as connected for music in the Audio section. As long as your Wonderboom 2 shows as connected, audio played on your computer will be played through your Wonderboom 2 Bluetooth speaker.
