470This tutorial will show you how you can convert multiple video files at once using the free software handbrake. Handbrake is a software that allows you to modify, convert and compress video files. The queue feature allows you to set multiple videos to convert before beginning the encoding process.
With handbrake open you can open multiple files, or a folder via importing or dragging them in. Each file will then load into the program. They will all be accessible via the summary tab, which allows you to switch between each and adjust the settings for each video appropriately. You may also create and use a saved preset on all of your videos.
When a video is ready to convert you must choose a file name and destination. It is recommended that you create a new folder for your converted files, to ensure you don’t overwrite the originals.
You can then add a single video to the queue or select to add all at once. This is a great time saver if you’re planning on compressing or converting multiple videos. With all your video files in the queue you can begin the encoding process. Once one video has been completed the next will start. This process will continue until all the video files have been successfully converted.
