How to Copy Video Clips to a USB Device on Xbox Series X (Settings Tutorial)
To transfer video clips and images from a USB drive to your Xbox Series X, follow these steps:
Plug in the USB drive to your console.
Navigate to Settings and select Personalization.
Choose Custom and then select the USB drive.
Select the images or files you want to use or transfer.
Additionally, if you’re looking to capture longer game clips that you can edit on your Windows PC, you can capture game clips and screenshots to external storage. Here’s how:
Plug an external storage device (USB 3.0, NTFS-formatted) into your Xbox. Note that storage formatted for Xbox games won’t work for captures.
Go to Profile & system - Settings - Preferences - Capture & share.
Select Capture location and choose a destination for your game clips and screenshots.
When you’re done recording, unplug your designated storage device, plug it into your PC, and start editing using your favorite PC tools.
Happy capturing!
