Utilizing the Blender open source 3D modeling platform I (Firebird854) am giving an instructional video on workflow to create 3D objects of the plant and organic variety. I am starting with a series of curves, and transform them into a branch with leaves, screencast is on so you will be able to see my various shortcuts in the upper left corner. This technique can be adapted to create video game objects, photorealistic trees, bushes... flowers, etc.
