To create an External Virtual Switch:

Step 1: If you have not previously installed Hyper-V your PC, please refer to the following video or article:

Step 2: After installing the Microsoft virtualization software, click Virtual Switch Manager in the Actions section.

Step 3: Select the #External #network and click the Create button.

Step 4: Type a name for the External Switch and close the window.

Step 5: Now, select a virtual machine to test this network structure and open its settings. Then select the External Switch you created from Network Adapter and add it.

Step 6: Run the virtual computer and configure the TCP/IP settings and ping the network card of the default gateway Host computer.

Step 7: You will see that the ping failed. Because you add an External Virtual Switch to a virtual computer, the VM can access the physical network and access the Internet.
