5Using Odoo Pricelists one can easily manage the product pricing according to the company's needs more easily and efficiently. The pricing of products is very important for a successful business. Sometimes we have to change the prices of the products. We have seen that some companies change the price of a product during different seasons, occasions, due to some factors and so on.
The price list can be set for a product or a product category too. Correspondingly, factors such as quality, service, and uniqueness of a product also determine the product price variations. It's quite natural for a company to witness price changes in a frequent mode with respect to seasons, partners, and other miscellaneous criteria. But often managing this price sensitivity turns out to be a tedious and chaotic task. Odoo has come up with an open-source alternative to tackle these issues.
To activate the price list feature in Odoo go to Sales - Configuration - Settings - Enable Pricelists. After enabling price lists two options are shown:
Multiple prices per product: We can create price lists with fixed price rules by-product when you choose.
Advanced price rules (discounts, formulas): Enables advanced price rules for price-lists
