1) The first thing to remember is to simply go to the search box and clear all the search history
2) Next, on the Explore tab, you only want to like videos that are of interest to you
3) Search for keywords or content in which you are interested in
4) You can tap the three dots next to a particular post and tap on Hide.
5) You could also mute the notifications as well.
