Here is how to delete your Instagram account:
1. Go to your profile (by clicking on the profile icon on the bottom right).
2. Click on the three lines in the top part of the screen.
3. Select
Settings and privacy.
4. Go to
Accounts Center.
5. Scroll for the
Personal details
section.
6. Go to
Account ownership and control
7. Select to
Deactivate account
8. Click Continue and enter your password
9. Click Continue again and choose a reason
10. Select for how long you want your account to be deactivated
11. Select to continue and now you can deactivate your account
