How to Defeat Rancor Boss in Star Wars Outlaws - Easy Guide

When you arrive, you will need to fight the Rancor boss, but don’t worry; I will show you how to defeat the Rancor in Star Wars Outlaws.
Let’s break down this fight. The Rancor has two primary attack modes: standard and charge. In standard mode, he’ll chase us around the arena, using swipes, slams, and other melee attacks. Despite his size, he moves quickly across the battlefield, and his attacks deal massive damage.
To survive, we need to stay out of his reach at all times. The best strategy to dodge his melee attacks is to constantly sprint and use the crouch button to slide when he strikes, allowing us to avoid his hits effectively.
Additionally, we can make the Rancor change between modes by shooting one of the barrels suspended on the roof. So, just wait until the Rancor is underneath one and shoot the barrel.
The battle is divided into four phases. In the first two phases, the objective is straightforward: trigger charge mode and position yourself near the hangar door, waiting for the Rancor’s charge meter to fill. Then, dodge out of the way, allowing him to smash into the door and break it open. The hangar door is massive and located on the opposite side from where the Rancor entered. You’ll know you’ve succeeded when a quick cutscene plays, showing the Rancor colliding with the door and partially breaking it open.
During the second phase, Hutt goons will appear, so just take them out quickly and then refocus on the Rancor.
After the Rancor has hit the door twice, Vail will inform you that she needs to reroute the power to the terminal on the second floor of the hangar. At this point, your quest marker will indicate a junction box on the opposite platform from Vail. All you have to do is command your buddy to do the work for you while you keep your focus on the Rancor.
Now, in the fourth and final step, you will need to make Rancor hit the door one more time. So, be patient and once that's done, a cutscene will play, leading to the conclusion of the battle. After that, just run outside and you will get caught by Jabba's guards. Then, you will once again meet Jabba in person and this time finally complete the Partners quest in star wars outlaws.
