How To Delete 3DS Perma-Saves - Locked Game Save - R4i USB Backup Dongle - Blazblue
Here's a way to delete the permanent game saves found on some 3DS titles using an R4i Save Dongle. Surprisingly some greedy developers thought removing the ability for customers to delete their game saves was a good idea! Games such as RE:The Mercenaries, Blazblue, Monkey Ball and Pac-Man/Galaga all use a permanent save file which cannot be deleted/cleared by the consumer. The regular option found in just about every other game to clear this data has been removed from these titles. It was done in an attempt to stop people from selling on their games after they'd finished/got bored with or just wanted to trade them in to buy something else. A real slimeball move in my opinion!
So here's the workaround! XD Pickup one of these cheap R4i USB Save Dongles and corrupt the save file. It'll force the system into prompting you with a hidden option to create a new save game.
I bought mine from www.PriceAngels.com for £6.50 delivered. Looking on there now I think they're currently out of stock but have a similar looking device here...

I've used PriceAngels a few times now and they ship from China so it takes around 1-2 weeks for stuff to arrive. But they have very good after sales support! I once had to return a faulty DS flashcart and they were really helpful.

The whole soundtrack to that game is excellent! I liked it so much I ended up buying the album.
The second track near the end of the vid is from the BlazBlue Calamity Trigger OST. The track is called Under Heaven Destruction by Daisuke Ishiwatari.
