Steps:
- Open the launchpad and find the app that you would like to delete.
- If you cant find the app, you can search for it in the search bar up top.
- Hold down on any app until the apps start to wiggle, then tap the ‘x’ in the top left of the app that you would like to delete.
- Click ‘delete’ on the popup.
- The app will immediately be deleted.
- If the app that you want to delete doesn’t have an ‘x’ in the top left corner, then it is either essential for the mac to function, or it wasn’t downloaded in the app store.
- You cannot delete essential apps, but you can delete apps that weren’t downloaded in the app store.
- To do this, open the finder from the doc, then click ‘applications’ from the left sidebar.
- Find the app that you would like to delete, if you can’t find it you can use the search bar at the top to search for it.
- Drag and place the app into the trash can in the bottom right of the screen.
- The app has to be closed in order to delete it.
- To fully delete the app you need to open the bin and click ‘empty’ in the top right corner.
- Click ‘empty bin’ on the popup.
- That app is now deleted from your mac.
