Steps:

- Start by clicking the ‘Apple logo’ in the top left corner.

- Choose ‘system preferences’ from the menu that appears.

- In system preferences, choose ‘battery’.

- Click ‘schedule’ from the left sidebar menu.

- Check the checkbox to the left of ‘start up or wake’.

- Click ‘everyday’ and you can choose whether you would like your mac wakeup schedule to be on weekdays, weekends, or everyday, or you can choose an individual day.

- You can then choose the time that you would like your mac to startup or wake.

- To set a shutdown or sleep schedule, check the checkbox to the left of ‘sleep’.

- You can then click ‘sleep’ and choose whether you want your mac to sleep, restart, or shutdown.

- Click ‘everyday’ and you can choose whether you want your mac to shutdown on weekdays, weekends, everyday or on a specific day.

- To the right you can choose what time you would like your mac to shutdown or sleep.

- Once you are happy with your schedule, click apply at the bottom.

- Your Macs startup and sleep schedule has now been set.
