How To Delete Messages On Facebook Messenger - Easy Solution | HTG
Deleting messages on Facebook Messenger is simple, whether you want to remove a single message or an entire conversation. There are two ways to delete messages: unsending a message for everyone or deleting it only from your side.
If you want to remove a message you sent to someone, you can use the "Unsend" feature. To do this, open the Messenger app and go to the conversation where the message is located. Long press on the message, then tap "More" from the options that appear. Select "Unsend," and you will be given two choices: "Unsend for Everyone" or "Unsend for You." Choosing "Unsend for Everyone" will remove the message from both your chat and the recipient’s chat, while "Unsend for You" will only remove it from your own view.
If you want to delete an entire conversation, go to your Messenger chat list and long press on the conversation you want to remove. Then, tap "Delete." Keep in mind that deleting a conversation only removes it from your side—it does not erase the messages from the other person’s inbox. Also, once deleted, you won’t be able to recover the conversation.
Using these steps, you can manage your messages on Messenger efficiently, whether you need to remove specific messages or clear up your chat history.
