If you're using the command line interface, the commands are included below:

(M4300-24X24F) enable

(M4300-24X24F) #conf

(M4300-24X24F) (Config)#interface 1/0/1

(M4300-24X24F) (Interface 1/0/1)#shutdown

(M4300-24X24F) (Interface 1/0/1)#no shutdown

(M4300-24X24F) (Interface 1/0/1)#exit

(M4300-24X24F) (Config)#exit

(M4300-24X24F) #save

To save the configuration in the web GUI, hit the "Save" icon in the upper right hand corner, and your settings will be applied.
