Little how to video on how to disable the keyboard and language changing hotkeys in Windows 11 (also applies to Windows 10, similar menu structure).

Hotkeys for changing your keyboard layout on the fly can be useful, but they also can be a bit annoying when you hit them by mistake. And Microsoft being Microsoft even added 2 of them! Double the hotkeys, triple the excitement!! Luckily both can be disabled, i show you how to do it on this video.

alt+shift can be disabled by going into "Hardware Keyboard Settings", then "Advanced Keyboard Settings" and clicking on the "Input language hot keys" link. It gives you an input box where you can configure the hotkeys to disable them. Unfortunately the other hotkey windows+space was added in later development and cannot be configured from this menu.

windows+space can be disabled by installing the PowerToys configuration tools developed officially by Microsoft as to allow Windows powerusers to configured some things including a Keyboard Shortcut remapper which doesn't work to disable alt+shift but does work to disable windows+space).
