About this video: This video is our step-by-step guide on how to download and install the Controlling mod in Minecraft 1.14.4. If you are tired of trying to figure out conflicting keys in Minecraft, the Controlling #MinecraftMod is for you! It will allow you to see all of the conflicting keys that Minecraft 1.14.4 has in addition to letting you search your key bindings in Minecraft to make sure you can find them and change your Minecraft 1.14.4 keybindings easily. So, let's go ahead and jump right into how you can download and install Controlling in Minecraft 1.14.4!
First and foremost, you will need to download the Controlling mod. You can find the official Controlling 1.14.4 mod download link above. Once you click on that, you will be taken to Curseforge. This is where Controlling is hosted for Minecraft 1.14.4. To download it, scroll down the page a bit and look at the right-hand sidebar. Here, you will see a 'Minecraft 1.14' section. Under this, you will see a file with a purple download button next to it. Click on this purple download button, and Controlling for Minecraft 1.14.4 will start downloading automatically after 5 seconds. You will need to keep/save Controlling on your browser.
Your downloading endeavors aren't done just yet though! You still need to download and install Forge for Minecraft 1.14.4. It goves over every single step of getting Forge and even troubleshoots some of the problems and issues that you may run into.
After you have Forge, it is finally time to move on to install the Controlling mod in Minecraft 1.14.4. To install controlling, you need to click on the little Windows icon in the bottom left of your screen. Then, you need to search for the 'Run' application. Open the Run application, and in the text box, type '%appdata%' and hit enter. This will open your 'roaming' folder. Here you will have a '.minecraft' folder. Open that .minecraft folder, and you should have a 'mods' folder. If you don't have a mods folder, just create one. All you need to do now is drag-and-drop the Controlling mod into this folder. You have now successfully learned how to install the Controlling mod in Minecraft 1.14.4.
We aren't done completely though. We still need to open the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow to the left of the 'play' button, and then, click on the 'Forge' profile. Once you have done that, you can click play.
At this point, Minecraft 1.14.4 will open up with Controlling installed.
