Having picked up a Sega Megadrive controller the other day from Cash Converters for only £2 I discovered the UP on the D-Pad was rather faulty. Having never fixed/cleaned a Megadrive controller I decided to give it a go and record it, hoping that it would be like a good old fashioned Nintendo GameBoy...lucky for me it was.

This was extremely easy to do and anyone with a Phillips screwdriver, cotton buds and some alcohol based cleaning solution can do it.
