How to Edit a Video with Photos and Videos !
If you want to edit a video using both photos and videos to create a single, cohesive project, CapCut is an excellent free video editing app available for both Android and iOS devices. CapCut offers a user-friendly interface and powerful tools that allow you to merge photos and videos seamlessly, add effects, transitions, and even background music to enhance your content.
To get started, download and install the CapCut app from your device’s app store. Once installed, launch the app, and you’ll see the main interface. One easy way to create a video with both photos and videos is by using CapCut’s built-in templates. Tap on the "Templates" tab at the bottom of the screen. In the search bar, type "photo video slideshow" to find templates specifically designed for mixing photos and videos. You’ll see a variety of free and premium templates. Choose one that fits your style and tap on "Use Template."
Next, you’ll be prompted to select your media files. Start by adding video clips from your gallery, then switch to your photo library to add the images you’d like to include. You can select multiple photos and videos, and CapCut will arrange them based on the template’s design. Once you’ve selected all the media files you want to use, tap "Next."
CapCut will automatically apply transitions, effects, and sync your content with the template’s pre-set features. You can preview the video and make additional edits, such as trimming clips, adjusting the duration of photos, adding text, applying filters, or changing the background music. If you prefer more control, you can skip using templates and create a new project manually. Tap on "New Project," add your photos and videos, and customize the timeline according to your preferences.
Once you’re satisfied with your edits, tap the export button at the top right corner of the screen to save the video to your device. You can then share it on social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
