0Sharing a reel on your Instagram story is a quick and easy way to engage with your followers and highlight content you enjoy. Whether it’s your own reel or someone else’s, Instagram allows you to share it directly to your story with just a few taps.
To share a reel on your story, open the Instagram app and make sure you're signed into your account. Navigate to the Reels section by tapping the Reels tab at the bottom of the screen or finding a reel in your feed. Once you’ve found the reel you want to share, tap the share icon (paper airplane) on the right side of the screen.
A menu will appear with different sharing options, including sending the reel to friends, posting it on other platforms, or adding it to your story. Tap "Add to Story" to open the story editor. You can customize the story by adding text, stickers, or other effects before posting. Keep in mind that shared reels will be limited to 15 seconds in stories.
Once you're happy with your edits, tap "Your Story" to share it with your followers. If you want to send it to specific people instead, use the "Close Friends" option or send it as a direct message.
