Steps:

- If you are deleting photos to free up storage and your storage space is not increasing, then emptying your gallery trash will solve your issue.

- Open the gallery app, and tap on the three lines button in the bottom right corner.

- Then choose ‘recycle bin’ from the options.

- Tap the three dots button in the top right corner.

- Tap ‘empty’.

- Then tap ‘delete’ on the popup.

- Your gallery trash is now empty.
