Steps:
- Chat Heads are the little bubble like icons that show on your screen even when you are not on messenger, it’s a way of quickly talking to your friends regardless of what you are doing on your phone.
- To turn on chat heads, open up the messenger app and then tap on your profile icon in the top left corner.
- Scroll down the options to ‘chat heads’ and turn the toggle to the right to the on position.
- If you havent enabled chat heads before you will need to give messenger permission to ‘draw over other apps’.
- Tap ‘go to settings’.
- Find messenger and turn the toggle on, then click the back arrow, and chat heads will be turned on.
- If you want to open a chat head for a specific chat you can hold down on that chat and then choose ‘open chat head’ from the options.
- You can hold down on and drag a chat head to different locations on your screen.
- To remove a chat head, simply drag and drop it to the ‘x’ icon at the bottom of the screen.
- To disable chat heads, follow the same steps as for turning them on, but turn off the toggle to the right of chat heads, rather than turning it on.
