Steps:

- If you are deleting photos to free up storage and your storage space is not increasing, then emptying your trash will solve your issue.

- The first thing to do is open up the gallery app on your phone.

- Then tap on the three horizontal lines button in the bottom right corner.

- Tap "recycle bin" from the menu that appears.

- In the recycle bin tap "empty" from the top right corner.

- Then tap "empty recycle bin" on the popup that appears.

- All of your deleted photos will now be permanently deleted.
