Steps:
- Open up the YouTube app and tap on your user icon in the top right corner.
- Tap settings from the menu that appears.
- In settings tap on "captions".
- In the caption settings tap on "more options" then tap "language".
- You can then tap to select the language you would like to change the subtitles to.
- Tap the back arrow and make sure that the toggle to the right of "show captions" is switched on.
- The next time you watch a YouTube video the subtitles will be in the language you selected.
