Steps:

- Its possible to disable the ability to make in app purchases, to do it, open up the settings app.

- In settings, tap ‘screen time’.

- In screen time, select ‘content and privacy’ restrictions.

- Enable the checkbox for content and privacy restrictions and then select ‘itunes and app store purchases’.

- On the next page, select ‘in app purchases’ and then tap ‘don’t allow’.

- In app purchases will now be disabled on your iPad or iPhone
