Steps:

- Open up the YouTube app and tap on your user icon in the top right corner.

- Select settings from the menu that appears.

- In settings tap "history & privacy".

- Here you want to tap on "clear search history" then tap on "clear search history" on the popup.

You can also clear your watch history here if you like by tapping "clear watch history" and then tapping "clear watch history" again on the popup.

Your search history and watch history will now be cleared.
