In many ways, Emulation has become a way of preserving the games of yesterday. Especially on systems where the developers have long aince gone or there is no backwards compatibility options on modern consoles. Even then in cases such as original Playstation games on modern systems, emulation is used.

There is a thriving community of retro gamers who use emulation on the web, although the legal implications are questionable in some instances. However in the case of the Commodore Amiga I personally believe that emulation is the only way you are going to experience the system without large amounts of money because the the system's rarity. This sentiment in the case of the Amiga is shared by Amiga Forever who offer a legal way to emulate it's games.

After the success of my Atari Jaguar and Phillips CDI videos I thought it would be a good idea to try this again with the Amiga and offer you guys my personal insight into Commodore Amiga emulation
