Looking to multi-task with your android cell phone or tablet and have two apps displayed side-by-side? In this tutorial I show you how to activate split screens in android.

Before using split-screens in Android, it is important to note that apps need to be compatible with the multi-tasking feature. Apps such as Instagram are not compatible with split-screen in Android.

To enable Android split screen simply tap and hold on the app-switcher icon. This is is the square icon to the right of the home screen icon.

Split-screen is available on devices running Android 7.0 Nougat. If you have a Google Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X or Nexus 6 phone, Pixel C or Nexus 9 tablet give it a try. Enjoy!
