How to enable Intel ARC GPU low power idle tips and tricks A380 A750 A770
Intel has a real problem with power efficiency and in particular while on the desktop when just with a browser open, or in a spreadsheet or something. This is when you can be possibly burning through around 40-50watts! which against the 5-10w for Nvidia or AMD cards is nuts!

And to make things worse, this is even with the monitor OFF!
there are some ways to fix it, or at least patch it slightly, but the worst part is you are likely going to be using your gaming monitor at 60hz, that hurts!
Some other tips and tricks included in the video for those that have tried this before and it didn't work. such as disabling Secure Boot and also enabling PEG0 and PEG1 ASPM L1 states.
