How to Enable Sound Alert for Screenshots on Windows 10.

Run field: rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL mmsys.cpl ,2

You can add a sound to the Print Screen Key so that every time you press it to capture a screen sound, it will make noise on your Windows 10 PC. Now, you don’t need to run any special program or software for capturing your Desktop. Press the Print Screen key and Windows will capture a screenshot and save it. If you wish to create a sound alert for the screenshots you take, you can do so easily.

Windows 10 allows users to take a screenshot with the Win+PrintScrn keyboard shortcut. This feature saves a full-screen screenshot to the Pictures library and when the screenshot is captured, the screen flashes to indicate that a screenshot has been taken. If you’re not a fan of the screen flashing and would instead like a sound alert, you can enable it.

In Windows, there are several ways to capture a screenshot without using third party tools. You can either use Snipping Tool, or good old PrintScreen key. But PrintScreen has always been a silent event - there is no sound, no visual indication that the image was captured to the clipboard. This changed with Windows 8 and Windows 10: in these OSes, if you use the Win + PrintScreen keyboard shortcut to take a screenshot, it dims the screen. But what if there was a sound played? Well it turns out Microsoft coded a hidden feature. You can assign a sound to the PrintScreen screenshot! Let's see how it can be done.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba,Lenovo, and Samsung).
