In this video, I will show you how to enable USB debugging mode and manually activate USB file transfer on the Vivo Y20i smartphone.

USB Debugging mode is an Android feature that’s hidden under the secret menu called Developer Options. This feature works by allowing the phone to communicate with a computer or other devices over a USB connection.
Enabling this feature is usually needed whenever the phone refuses to automatically allow or instigate file transfer over USB connection. For example, when your phone only charges instead of opening the file manager when it’s plugged into a computer’s USB port.

The steps I’ve mapped out in this tutorial video portrays the actual process of enabling USB debugging and setting the default USB configuration to USB file transfer on the Vivo Y20i smartphone and other Vivo models with the same software version.
