Maybe you're tired of seeing irrelevant results from a particular website in your Google searches, or you just want to streamline your searches for more accurate information. Thankfully, Google makes it possible to exclude a specific site from your Google search results. So, if you're ready to take control of your search results and get more relevant information, let’s dive right in.
Step 1. Navigate to Google.com in a web browser. You'll land on the Google home page.
Step 2. Enter the query you want to search Google for. In this example I'll search for how to turn off Meta AI on Instagram. You can see in this list of search results I have a big block of results from Reddit.
If you don't want to see results from Reddit, you can modify your search query to include "-site:reddit.com" at the end of it. Now when you run the modified search query your returned results won't include any from Reddit. You can filter any domain or website from Google search results by including "-site:" and then the website or domain you don't want to see any results returned for in the search results.
