Video Transcript:
Are you working with data in Google Sheets and need to quickly find key statistical measures like the mean, median, or mode? Whether you’re analyzing survey results, managing business data, or just crunching some numbers for a school project, understanding these basic statistics can provide valuable insights into your data.
Step 1. Open your Google Sheets document, and then click to select the cell you want to put either the mean, median or mode in.
Step 2. If you want to find the mean, type "=average". If you want to find the median, type "=median". Or, if you want to find the mode, type "=mode." After defining the number you want to see, select the cell range you want to see that number for and then press "Enter." Your number will be populated immediately.
