6This is what happens when your game has a bugged video setting and instead of allowing the player to go into the options menu to fix it, you force them into a tutorial. It's also what happens when a developer got lazy and didn't patch the game when they found out the Escape key doesn't work in Windows Vista/7.
For those of you wondering what's going on here... the game forces you into a tutorial before you can fix your video options. One of the options, a setting called "glow," messes up the rendering on some PC's so that instead of actually showing the proper graphics, it just displays white. All you have to do to get the proper visuals to show is turn off the glow setting. Problem is, the escape key doesn't work if you're on Windows Vista/7 (and I assume 8/8.1/10 as well) supposedly because of Microsoft changing the way that the escape key is interpreted in Windows Vista-on. The developer never felt like fixing the problem, so they just said they weren't going to and left it as-is. So now, if you want to get out of a match, you have to alt-tab and shut the game down via the task manager.
