How to finalize a camcorder mini dvd without ac adapter
Make sure the battery has enough charge for at least 6 minutes of run time before proceeding:

Simply cover the the connections on the battery that are not the - + pins with electrical tape to fool the camera into thinking the battery is the AC adapter. For example, if the battery has 4 connections 2 will be for the computer on the battery to tell the camcorder how much power is left and to let it know its a battery and not ac.
